Spokane

In Spokane, The Bail Project has partnered with Excelsior Wellness to provide free bail assistance and comprehensive support services to people incarcerated at the Spokane County Jail and Geiger Correctional Facility in the Spokane Superior Court, Spokane District Court, and Spokane Municipal Court court systems.

For over 40 years, Excelsior Wellness has been a pioneering provider of holistic, community-based health services to Spokane residents. Their experience and expertise are invaluable as we seek to demonstrate a public health and community-based alternative to cash bail and pretrial incarceration in Spokane.

In addition to this direct service partnership, The Bail Project works with the Spokane City and County Public Defender Offices, the Northwest Justice Project, the Spokane resource center, and the local NAACP to identify people in need of assistance and advocate for larger systemic change.
