We welcome people from all backgrounds and geographical locations to intern with us, especially college students, individuals directly and indirectly impacted by the bail system, and folks coming from an internship-providing institution. We are also thrilled to offer volunteer opportunities to people ages 18 and older!
At The Bail Project, we believe that freedom should be free and that no one should sit in a jail cell without being convicted of anything simply because they cannot afford bail. In alignment with these beliefs, our Intern and Volunteer Program is committed to providing robust, intentional, and impactful opportunities to all who offer their time to our organization.
The Bail Project currently offers virtual internship opportunities and will offer in-person internships at various sites across the country and in Los Angeles, working for our Support Hub, in the future.
