Alesha Walker is a Volunteer and Intern Coordinator at The Bail Project.
Prior to joining TBP, Alesha worked as the Senior Experiential Learning Coordinator with United Friends of the Children. While there, she curated college access curricula and events for former and current foster youth throughout Los Angeles County to help them achieve their higher education goals. Alesha began her career in social justice work when she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member for two years and built college access and early literacy programs from the ground up. She became an advocate for equitable change as she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Temple University. When focusing on self-care, Alesha can be found at the beach with a good book or in the theater watching a new play.
