The Bail Project / Our Team / Tracy Stanton

Tracy Stanton is a Bail Disruptor in St. Louis, Missouri.

Prior to joining TBP, she was an employee at Saint Louis University, where she is currently a student aiming to obtain a BA in Social Work. Tracy submerged herself in organizing to address the needs of her community. She is a board member, a presenter with the Clark-Fox Family’s Mass Incarceration Initiatives, program facilitator, and a member of EXPO, ex-incarcerated people organizing. Tracy has taken a personal interest in assisting justice-involved individuals’ transition into society because she was once in their position. Her personal involvement with the criminal justice system is what drives her to make a difference in criminal justice reform and fight against mass incarceration. She is also a Poet and uses her art to address the injustices that take place in society.
