Sara Ginsberg is Assistant General Counsel at The Bail Project.
Sara joined The Bail Project from Public Health Solutions, the largest public health non-profit serving New York City, where she was most recently an assistant general counsel focusing on contracting. Before that, she worked as legislative counsel for the New York City Council, drafting laws on topics that ranged from AI in policing to elections to minimum wage. Sara began her legal career defending parents against charges of abuse and neglect as a staff attorney with the Center for Family Representation in Queens County, New York.
She earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University. She is admitted to practice in New York.
