Orlando Arenas is a Bail Disruptor in Phoenix, Arizona.
Prior to joining TBP, Orlando co-founded the Puente Human Rights Movement, working as a program director and overseeing and developing its visual arts program to empower those directly impacted by immigration policy. Orlando started as a community organizer with day laborers at different Phoenix locations, leading Know-Your-Rights trainings and helping workers reclaim lost wages. At Puente, he was also responsible for recruiting, training, and developing membership, and for mobilizing community members in campaigns. Since then, he’s continued to organize direct actions, voter-registration drives, and community campaigns for government accountability.
