Lafayette Slaydon is a Bail Disruptor in Indianapolis, IN.

Prior to joining TBP, Lafayette worked as a community organizer and activist. Their latest project is/was Queering Indy, an organization that provides resources, advocacy, and education to the LGBTQIA community of the greater Indianapolis area, specifically focusing on centering the voices of trans people and queer people of color.

Lafayette has extensive experience in harm reduction, specifically when it comes to substance use in marginalized communities. Their hope is to be part of systemic change that ends oppressive practices and applies principles of harm reduction to every part of the justice system.

Lafayette is a Louisiana native and a proud Cajun.
