Jarrett S. Roman is a Bail Disruptor in Greenville, South Carolina.

Prior to joining The Bail Project. Jarrett worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor, a Child Protection Worker, and a Behavioral Health Counselor in a psychiatric facility. He also spent time as a law clerk bringing lawsuits against prisons and police departments for civil rights violations. Jarrett has a very strong passion to serve what he calls “society’s castaways”—those members of our society that are sometimes seen as “difficult” or “damaged.”

Jarrett is also a military veteran, serving in both the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army. He is a husband and father, an avid reader, chess player, and an active Brazilian Jiu-jitsu competitor.

Jarrett received his Bachelor of Arts degree (with highest honors) from Fordham University with a double major in Middle Eastern Studies and Theology. He received his JD from The University of Alabama School of Law.
