Isaias Soto (he/him) is a Research Scientist at The Bail Project.
Prior to joining TBP, Isaias used his skills in data analysis to examine issues such as the disparities in police stops in Los Angeles based on race and gender and educational service rates of children with disabilities and developmental delays in the San Gabriel Valley. He graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from Cal Poly Pomona and has continued to work on projects that focus on social justice issues.
Isaias believes in the long journey of work to end the cash bail system and is committed to working towards the abolition of prisons. He is currently working towards a master’s degree in Statistics at Cal Poly Pomona.
Isaias is a collector of hobbies including reading, cooking/baking, and fermenting anything and everything.
