Brian Chapman is Deputy Vice President for Analytics and Business Strategy in the Office of Alumni and Development at Columbia University. His work focuses on how to bring large-scale analytics to sustained growth of philanthropy. He is also the director of Columbia’s current $5 billion capital campaign. Prior to Columbia, Brian worked in a variety of roles related to nonprofit and government strategy, governance and management. He was an Associate Partner at McKinsey and Company and a member of the nonprofit practice there, working in Chicago and Amsterdam. He continues to be a sought-after consultant for universities and non-profits on issues of strategy and growth.
