Akilah Pelt is a Bail Disruptor in St. Charles, Missouri.

Akilah has been a Case Manager/ Community Support Specialist for over 14 years. She has specialized in working with women and men suffering from mental health issues, physical disabilities, and substance abuse. Akilah’s last employer was Life Source Consultants, where she was a client advocate for domestic violence and sexual abuse victims and survivors. She also served as Chair Facilitator for St. Louis Ending Violence Against Women Network (SLEVAWN). Akilah attended Washington University and studied Healthcare Management. She is a mother of three and an active “dance mom” with her 11-year old daughter, Brooklynn. Knowing firsthand the unfairness of the bail and criminal justice system, makes her very excited to advocate for others that are struggling with the same issues.
