Adrienne Johnson is the Bail Out the South Program Manager at The Bail Project.
Prior to joining The Bail Project, Adrienne spent eight years working as a Public Defender at The Law Office of the Public Defender in DeKalb County, Georgia where she represented indigent clients accused of felonies. Most recently, Adrienne served as a Deputy Supervising Attorney where she was responsible for supervising and training new Public Defenders. Adrienne has also served as a faculty member for several trial advocacy programs focused on training Public Defenders to be better advocates for their clients. She received her B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies from Furman University and her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.
