In Tyler, The Bail Project has partnered with The Texas Jail Project. Our partnership site serves people incarcerated at the Smith County Jail in the Smith County Courts at Law and the Smith County District Courts.
Texas Jail Project is dedicated to empowering incarcerated people in county jails and their families, by lifting their voices through stories, testimonies, and community building. We are collaborating with Texas Jail Project to amplify their capacity to document and advocate against the harms of pretrial detention by bailing people out and supporting those individuals throughout the duration of their cases.
