Gabriel Weinberger is a Senior Research Associate, leading the research and evaluation team in examining the most just methods to ending mass incarceration.
Gabriel is passionate about criminal justice reform because of the important role it plays in achieving social and racial justice. He has worked in the policy research field at the Rand Corporation and Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago, where his work has focused on analyzing policies in the areas of drugs, crime, mass incarceration, and providing social services. He completed his doctoral studies at the Pardee Rand Graduate School and also has a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in economics management science from the University of California, San Diego. In his free time, Gabriel enjoys playing soccer and biking aimlessly around Los Angeles.
