Jamani Montague is a Project Associate at The Bail Project where she is responsible for research and analytical projects.
Prior to joining TBP, Jamani worked as a data analyst and evaluator with the Atlanta-Fulton County Pre-Arrest Diversion Office. Over the years, Jamani has applied her research and advocacy skills to numerous campaigns, fundraisers, local demonstrations and political education workshops to raise awareness about issues related to mass incarceration. She has served as a policy consultant to a number of criminal justice reform organizations and locally elected officials. Jamani is a native of Newark, New Jersey and received her B.A. in Political Science from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
